About Me

My name is Ben Toebbe, I am a Certified Precision Neuromuscular Therapist (CPNMT). I found my life's passion by accident. My life was forever changed the moment my friend ran a stop sign when I was 16 years old. We were hit broadside, and from the passenger seat I hit my head on the drivers side windshield. I was taken to the hospital and released after they removed glass from my head. No MRI...no CT Scan...just released as if everything was ok.

Two years later I started experiencing headaches and overall body pain. I tried everything Western Medicine had to offer with no results. I decided to find my own answers. A friend that my mom rode the bus with mentioned an article in a load all newspaper called the Cincinnati Downtowner. The article talked about a therapist who claimed to be a pain fighter, who practiced Neuromuscular Therapist (NMT). I decided to schedule a session even though I was skeptical. In our first session, the therapist asked me questions and actually listened to me. She did a postural assessment and determined I was out of alignment from my head to my hips. The treatment lasted 90 minutes and it took about three days for my body to adjust. I received treatment twice a week, for about five months to release my pattern. I remember asking Peggy, my therapist, "How can I ever repay you?" Her response, "Be a great therapist and do it for the right reasons!"

I did just that. In 1999, I graduated from the Cincinnati School of Medical Massage. After that, I decided to pursue the courses/seminars needed in order to become a NMT. I became certified in Paul St. John's NMT techniques, as well as Doug Nelson's Precision Neuromuscular Therapy (PNMT). I had the opportunity to work as a teaching assistant under both of them. By teaching the work, I become a stronger therapist.

I started my practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bodies In Balance Therapeutics. In six years I built a very strong rapport with my clients. I am now bringing my work to the Las Vegas area. I believe its time for people to experience something new, something different, and something that produces real results!
I have worked on many clients over an 18 year span. What still amazes me is how much we continue to overlook the muscle system, which by the way, is the largest in the body. A typical session is tailored to your needs which includes a skilled assessment to figure out the source of the pain. The client should experience a change in the frequency or intensity of the pain. Bottom line, the pain changed which means it's muscular and can be solved with more treatment. I treat to solve, not to create dependency!
